Il testo dell'esercizio 5 non fornisce la capienza dei carrelli in maniera diretta, ma indiretta attraverso l'ingombro, misurato in frazioni di unità di carico, dei prodotti.
Il prodotto P1 ad esempio ha un ingombro di 0,5 unità di carico, ciò equivale a dire che un carrello contiene 1/0,5 = 2 prodotti P1.
Analogamente si può procedere per determinare la capienza dei carrelli rispetto agli altri prodotti.
