Per esempio anche il programma Derive va bene, e si trova gratuitamente online la demo di 30 giorni.

Viene un documento .txt di 400kb per la soluzione.

Scaricati maple ed inserisci questi comandi
with(linalg)
B:=matrix([[elem11,elem12.....],[elem21,elem22....]...]);
det(B);

ed ecco fatto....
Riduci a scala e calcolalo da li.
